I'M SO EXCITED!!
I just received my package from my MD warshcloth swap. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!
The colors are gorgeous. Cate must be physic or something. Not only did she get the exact greens and purples I love, she also somehow knew the scent of the soaps to send. I do have one problem though. My husband has decided that he wants the slip stitched cloth and the plain green soap. So, Cate that is a huge compliment to you because usually I just get a grunted "that's nice" about any of my knitting. Cate also sent me what I believe are handmade cards.
I love the whole "ewe rock". They are sooo cool. I plan on using my cloth as my dedicated facial cloths.

Oh, I'm so happy you like them! When I received your color preferences I just laughed because those are my favorite two colors also, and especially in combination.
I had a hard time giving the slip stitched cloth away, but luckily for me I think I have enough of each color to make myself another. And I agree - flattery from an indifferent non-knitter is sweet indeed! :)
The cards were made by a co-worker. I asked her for a couple "for a knitting-themed gift," and that was what she came up with. I was thrilled that she had got it right on the money!
I think I must have forgotten to slip the ball band into the package. The yarn is Ad Hoc Maxi that I got from Elann, and it's a bit heavier and (I think) a bit softer than your everyday kitchen cottons.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend - it's a beautiful day here!
