Just a little post today. I now it's been a week sonce my last one but I've been waaaaaaaaaay busy. I've had soccer practices, bowling, cubscouts, soccer games, a birthday party and a pirate walk. All this in one week and none of it for me. This is what I do every week minus the walk and party.
Needless to say my knitting has suffered.SmileyCentral.com

I have started the Mason-Dixon perfect sweater. It's in cascade 220 heathered amethest. I will have pictures of it tomorrow. I can't seem to find the camera. I think my boys hid it because I threatened to post pictures of them in my clothes. They had decided to dress in my sweaters instead of their own. I don't know why? They don't even know why. Did I mention they are 9 and 5? enough said.

Anyway, I said a short post so I'm gonna go and try to get some more knitting done. Wish me luck.

Let's try this again. This will be the 3rd time I've tried to add pictures. Blogger just doesn't like me this weekend. I'm hoping that because it's Monday maybe I will be able to do it. Well, here goes.

These are the roses my hubby gave me. See? Aren't they gorgeous?

This is one last picture from the fair. It's actor boy on the bungee ride. He absolutely loved this.

It's been 10 years! (long post)

I can't believe I've been married that long. October 13th 1996. That's the day I said "I do". Some days it feels longer and other days it feels like only yesterday. My darling husband got me the most beautiful bouquet of roses. I LOVE roses. My house smells like a rose garden. They are gorgeous! We haven't gone out yet because as usual the boys take up all our time. Last night was soccer practice until 7 and this morning was the game at 9. Needless to say that kind of puts a hamper on the whole "celebrating"(if you know what I mean hee hee). Anyway tomorrow night we are going out to dinner at Anthony's a very upscale expensive seafood restaurant well known in the Boston area. I can't wait. Lobster here I come.

In other events, here are some pictures from the Topsfield Fair that I promised.

This is soccer boy with an alligator. Isn't that so cool. I love the fact that he got to hold it because that is what he wants to do when he grows up. Steve Erwin was his hero. He even wants to hopefully end up working and the Australian Zoo.

Here he is again holding a skunk. Don't worry, it's had it's stinky gland removed. I don't know if anyone has ever petted one of these, but they are sooo soft.
Onto more fun. This is actor boy on one of the kiddie rides. Nothing for his is simple. He just can't sit on a ride and go round and round. No, he has to be somebody doing it. It is so cool that he has such an imagination. Here, he is a secret agent on his way to a mission. I swear you will see him on the big screen one day.

This one I really didn't want to add but the boys believed it was only fair that a picture with me in it was on the post. This has to be one of my favorite rides. I don't know if you can tell in the photo but we were flying. Actor boy literally was. I think he went about 2 feet off the slide. He LOVED it.
Here's another picture of soccer boy on a bungee ride. I think he's about 20 feet in the air. It was sooooo cool.

There are more pictures but I think blogger has decided that I have done enough. I will try again tonight. I have to show the gorgeous roses from the hubby.

Just a Little Bit

I only have a few minutes but I thought I should update my recent goings ons. The Family and I went to the Topsfield Fair this weekend. Well, actually I went twice, but I'll get into that in my next post. The boys had a BLAST. I will have photos and all the details later. Have A Nice Day

I'M SO EXCITED!!

I just received my package from my MD warshcloth swap. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!

The colors are gorgeous. Cate must be physic or something. Not only did she get the exact greens and purples I love, she also somehow knew the scent of the soaps to send. I do have one problem though. My husband has decided that he wants the slip stitched cloth and the plain green soap. So, Cate that is a huge compliment to you because usually I just get a grunted "that's nice" about any of my knitting. Cate also sent me what I believe are handmade cards. I love the whole "ewe rock". They are sooo cool. I plan on using my cloth as my dedicated facial cloths.
